Denver is most definitely NOT a humid subtropical climate (Cfa). It is a mid-latitude steppe climate (BSk). All of the cities surrounding Denver are correctly classified BSk.
Admin:
According to our calculations Denver would have to have less than 343 mm annual precipitation to be classified as BSk since only 68.5% of precipitation occurs in the summer half of the year. Boulder is also Cfa according to this page, albeit borderline.
